A downloadable game for macOS

Enter your ID number or your birthday and watch your personal world is generated before your eyes.

This project uses L-systems to generate plant life in a tiny planet. L-systems describe a grammar that is used to produce strings that can be fed into a graphic system to create the repeating structures of branches. This project is based on the work of Przemyslaw Prusinkiewicz and Aristid Lindenmayer, in their book "The Algorithmic Beauty of Plants."

The planets are generated randomly using a seed given by the user. Computers use unpredictable equations to create pseudo-randomness. This means any input into the equation will produce an output that is difficult to predict before, but the same input always produces the same output. That means every time you give the same seed value, the same planet will be generated, even though it is being generated everytime.
